St Christopher's School Nursery Refurbishment

CD Hood were the main building contractors for the entire refurbishment of Montessori Nursery in Letchworth. They provided full internal strip out, new floor construction, removal and reconstruction of structural walls, new floor joists, steelwork, leading to construction of new classrooms, library, dormitories, staff and catering kitchens and offices.

Domino's Pizza Head Office WC Refurbishment

Haversham Primary School Classroom Extension

CD Hood builders constructed a classroom extension using traditional construction to deliver a high quality multi-use class area, with M&E installation.

Arbury Primary School Classroom Extension

The focus of this project was to deliver a high quality strategically sited class base which was to provide a flexible learning space for the school. Constructed using traditional materials with an in-situ slab, brick and block work walls and flat roof with M&E installation to match the existing school. The project was delivered on time and within budget.

Robert Arkenstall Primary School Classroom Extension

Similar in size and design to the extension built at the Arbury Primary School, this work was undertaken for the same client, with a different design team. The project included provision of a new class base to the front of the school, brick and block work wall with an in situ concrete slab floor and timber flat roof with M&E installation.

Friday Bridge Primary School WC Refubrishment

The project involved the stripping out of 5 toilets, creating 1 larger toilet from 2 existing WCs, installing new sanitaryware, cubicles, flooring and redecorating.

Babraham C of E Primary School Link Extension

Construction of new link extension in Babraham, Cambridge, linking new and existing parts of the Primary School. The project involved enabling works, followed by the construction of the link, of brick and block construction with a beam and block floor, timber flat roof with roof lights and UPVC windows. The project also encompassed internal remodelling in the existing school, converting two toilets in to a classroom and other associated works.
